Brodsky is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York Residential Management Council and the recipient of its 2006 George M. He also leads Related Companies’ initiative to increase diversity, equity and inclusion within the company and the broader real estate industry. Brodsky joined Related’s affordable housing development group in 1982, has been an Executive Vice President of Related Affordable for 18 years, and served as President of Related Management from 1997 through 2015. Brodsky is Vice Chairman of Related Companies where he works closely with Related’s executive team to optimize business development and drive improved performance and results across the platform and internationally. Rebecca has a bachelor’s in Environmental Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability. Previously, she worked in environmental compliance management for the manufacturing sector. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Sustainability Committee and The Seattle Office of Environmental and Sustainability Technical Advisory Group (TAG) working to develop the City’s Building Energy Performance Standards, and was named among the 2022 Connect CRE Women in Real Estate. She is experienced with advising on complex environmental matters to facilitate real estate transactions and management of multi-state and multimedia environmental risk programs, and her tenure at Equity Residential includes roles in both the Investments and Legal organizations. Rebecca leads Equity Residential’s environmental and energy management programs, in addition to its climate change risk and adaptation program. Rebecca Becker is the Vice President of Environmental and Climate Adaptation at Equity Residential, an S&P 500 company and real estate investment trust that owns or has investments in approximately 300 multifamily properties in urban and high-density suburban U.S. Kevin is a graduate of Lehigh University and has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. He has run numerous robotics research programs, including collaborations with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and commercial aerospace partners to develop robots designed for deployment. After his time at Boston Dynamics, Kevin started the robotics research group at Otherlab focused on bringing robotics and automation out of the factory and into the hands of workers. Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in the development of rugged robotic systems, including fundamental contributions to some of Boston Dynamics’ seminal works, Big Dog and LS3. By combining worker skill and experience with the digital precision and machine learning capabilities of a robot, Canvas is enabling drywall finishing contractors to radically improve project outcomes while protecting the people doing the work. Canvas has developed a new class of robotic tool that helps solve some of the construction industry’s most intractable challenges, including an unprecedented labor shortage, unpredictable quality, and chronic schedule and budget overruns. Kevin Albert is the CEO and co-founder of Canvas, a construction robotics company that is empowering skilled construction workers to build in bold new ways. Deeana is an alumnus of the University of Michigan Solar Car Team, where she led the development of the nationally as well as globally ranked solar car, InfiniUM’s battery pack. Deeana is a published researcher and policy analyst who has conducted large policy evaluations for the NYC Department of Education, managed grants for a Silicon Valley non-profit, and owns and operates a start-up education technology firm. in neuroscience and nutrition from Columbia University, an MSc and MPH in policy from Tufts University, and a BS from the University of Michigan. Ahmed spearheaded ONE’s search for its first North American battery factory and has facilitated partnerships with a variety of businesses and non-profits across the country. ![]() ![]() Ahmed helped ONE secure funding from major investors, including BMW i Ventures and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. ![]() She also assesses market needs and how to scale renewable energy. Ahmed aims to help build a foundation for the widespread adoption and accessibility to alternative energy sources.
